Vessel Pollution Liability Coverage

Primary & Excess Vessel Pollution Liability Insurance with limits from $800,000.00 to $300,000,000 is available.

Financial Responsibility & Underwriting Tonnage Limitations

As long as the vessel(s) you seek to insure fall within the following guidelines, EPG will be able to put up a quotation and bind coverage:

	Tank Vessels – Up To 3,000 GRT
	Non-Tank Vessels – Up to 8,333 GRT
	Certain Barges – Up to 15,000 GRT

Insuring Form

Coverage purchased through EPG is written as per terms and conditions of the London U.S. Vessel Pollution Insurance Policy. This policy will indemnifies vessel owners for the liabilities listed below. Extensions to customize the basic coverage to the needs of a particular assured are available by endorsement.

Other Coverages

While EPG's main operations are focused on issuing vessel pollution liability insurance, we frequently entertain special coverage requests from brokers based upon their needs. In this regard, we have ready access to excess P&I markets with capacities up to $300,000,000.00, including and excluding pollution liabilities. We also offer coverage for War Risks, including terrorism, on vessels. Coverage for vessels being scrapped and limited civil penalties coverage for yachts whose liability coverage excludes fines under OPA is also available. Finally, EPG is able to place coverage for waterside pollution liability arising from above-ground tank storage tanks.
